- Group Acted for JV clients CALA Evans Restoration Limited in the successful acquisition of the prestigious Donaldson's College Site in Edinburgh at a consideration of £18m.
- we advised on the acquisition of the Scottish Agricultural Science Agency (SASA) site at Craigs Road, Edinburgh on behalf of our client, CALA Ventures Ltd. The price was in excess of £23million and the residential development will comprise 251 private units, 46 affordable units and a conversion of the existing listed buildings to form five flats
- we completed the acquisition of a large development site in Robroyston, Glasgow for a price in excess of £15million
- we acted for a consortium of developers (CALA Management and Persimmon) in the Development Agreement, Planning and acquisition of the Bellsdyke Hospital and Hill of Kinnaird, Larbert site, comprising 1,700 residential units and associated business/employment uses
Charles Church Homes
- we advised on the tax-efficient structuring of the acquisition and onward disposal of part of a site in Wormley with an end-value of approximately £50million
- we advised on the acquisition of a 12-unit site in Mercier Road, Putney
Clydeport Properties Limited
- we acted for Clydeport in the disposal of residential development sites (including marina developments) at Ardrossan to Persimmon, Wimpey and local housing associations
Fairview New Homes
- we advised on the acquisition and development of the former Tooting Bec Hospital. The redevelopment created over 400 new homes, a community centre, a nursing home, and social housing
- we advised on the acquisition of the former Crawley Leisure Centre with an end-value in the region of £150million
- we advised on the sale of 173 residential flats at Queen's Hospital, Croydon
- we advised on the redevelopment of Hollingdale Tower, Orpington and the Gorin Kerr site in Windsor
- we advised on the purchase of land at South Norwood for a price in excess of £6million
- we advised on the sale of St. Saviours College to a housing association for £16million
- we advised on the sale of land at Ecclestone Road, Tovil for £8.1million
- we advised on the exchange and completion of the purchase of Cumberlow Lodge, South Norwood
George Wimpey East Scotland Limited
- we advised Wimpey in the disposal of two residential development sites in Aberdeenshire to a national builder and the contemporaneous purchase by Wimpey of three residential sites in the area (total deal values £9million)
Glasgow Harbour Limited
- we advised Glasgow Harbour in the sale of the development platforms in respect of the first phase of residential development at Glasgow Harbour. The first residential developers were CALA, Bryant and Park Lane with a total of 650 housing units development and being constructed over an 18 month period
- we also advised Glasgow Harbour in the sale of the second phase of residential development for Dandara. Construction of over 700 units is now underway
Ipsus Developments
- we acted on the funding, acquisition and disposal in respect of the construction of 138 residential units and commercial space in Hardwicks Way, Wandsworth with an end-use value of approximately £40 million
- we acted on the funding, acquisition and disposal in respect of the construction of 170 residential units and commercial space in Grafton Square, Clapham with an end-use value in excess of £50 million
- we are acting in the acquisition of a company which owns land at Cabul Road, Clapham which has received planning permission for redevelopment and has an end-value of approximately £10 million
Persimmon Homes
- we advised on the acquisition of a 46 acre site in Kent with an end-use value in excess of £50million
- we advised on the acquisition of a half-share of four large sites, two of them in Ashford, one in Gillingham and one in Standstead
- we advised on the acquisition of a site in Shepperton with an end-use value of approximately £40million
- we advised on the acquisition of land at Illminster Rise, Clapham, for its redevelopment as six 2/3 bed apartments and eight four-bed houses
- we advised on the acquisition and part-disposal of mixed-use land at the Old Savoy Laundry site (now Intero), Clapham
- we advised on the acquisition of land at Kingston College for its redevelopment as 85 apartments

- we acted for the University of Aberdeen in the disposal of their Hilton Campus Site for a mixed-use residential development with a consideration of £20million
