In particular advising on security and subordination arrangements to be put in place
- advising S Group Ltd on the reallocation of its pension liabilities on the reorganisation of the group. Using the mechanisms introduced in the April 2008 revised Employer Debt Regulations to allocate all pension liabilities to the parent company
- advising the trustees of D plc's two pension schemes on ongoing funding arrangements
- advising B Ltd pension scheme trustees on funding arrangements and later on the steps involved in transferring the scheme to the Pension Protection Fund
- advising the trustees of the P Scheme on the implications for the scheme of the insolvency of its US parent company
- advising the trustees of the S Pension Scheme on security arrangements and varying s75 debt arrangements following sale of the S business to R plc
- advising the trustees of the R pension scheme on ongoing funding arrangements and structures to be put in place, and on debt apportionment flexibility
- advising an insurance company on the risk of its proposed assured being made the subject of a financial support direction or contribution notice
- advising E Ltd on various issues affecting approximately 50 schemes of which it is the professional independent trustee
