  • a European Commission investigation into a major commodity market. We act for a European-wide player where there are complex issues regarding the operation of various whistleblowing regimes
  • the OFT investigation into alleged price-fixing by the UK's four major retailers, Tesco, Asda, Sainsburys and Morrisons.  This is the largest ever investigation undertaken by the OFT
  • we advised Seawell Ltd on the acquisition of Noble's North Sea platform drilling business and the oversaw its clearance by the Mergers Branch under the Enterprise Act formal Merger Notice procedure
  • we continue to advise several housebuilders, two major drinks distributors and a host of E&P and oil and gas service companies on a wide range of competition issues
  • we have undertaken full competition law compliance training programme for a number of clients
  • we continue to advise a client in relation to a formal complaint to the OFT relating to the ongoing abuse of a dominant market position in the UK market for glass sand
