Acted for Seawell Holding UK Limited in connection with its acquisition of the UK North Sea platform drilling business of Noble Drilling for c$35million. This transaction required UK merger control consent, which was successfully obtained (April 2008).

Acted for the shareholders of James Jack Lifting Services Limited in its sale to Ainscough Crane Hire Limited (April 2008).

Acted for University of Aberdeen in its merger with the Rowett Research Institute to create the University of Aberdeen Rowett Institute of Nutrition and Health (July 2008).

Acted for the vendors in the sale of Pacific Shelf 1395 Limited together with its subsidiary Construction Specialist Limited to DOF Subsea ASA. (April 2007).

Acted for Chris Lloyd and Steminic Limited in the equity funding and acquisition of 90% of the share capital of MS Industrial Services Limited from Linkfleet Limited. (April 2007).
