Ian Gordon
Ian is a partner in the employment & pensions team and is based in our Glasgow office. He heads up our Pensions and employee benefits practice. He is also a founder and director of Scotia Pacific Trustees Limited, McGrigors' independent pension scheme trustee company.
Expertise
Ian has many years experience of advising employers and trustees of occupational pension schemes on almost every kind of legal issue which can affect theme, from dealing with surpluses (many years ago) to how to eliminate pension deficits, particularly under the new regime introduced by the Pensions Act 2004. He also has responsibility for the firm's share incentive scheme practice, covering share options, long term incentive plans schemes, as well as tailor-made individual arrangements.
