Frank is a partner in the corporate team and is based in our Glasgow office. Frank leads our financial services group who provide advice in all areas affecting the financial services sector.
Expertise
Frank and his team advise on a wide area of issues in the financial services sector. They advise on the establishment, marketing, and operation of investment trusts, unit trusts, OEICs and limited partnership funds. They also advise on regulatory and compliance issues, advising clients in the banking, insurance and asset management sectors on various aspects of the IMRO, PIA and SFA Rules including membership applications, web site compliance and functionality and conditions of use, money laundering issues and insider dealing. Other areas covered included global custody, insurance activities and retail banking.

- Acted for Murray Johnstone in the sale of the Murray Johnstone Group.
- Acted for Murray TMT plc in its scheme of reconstruction including a tender offer and the sale of its unlisted portfolio.
- Acted for Internet Technology Group plc in its scheme of arrangement to implement a takeover by Concentric Network Corporation.
- Acted for Murray Emerging Growth & Income Trust plc in its scheme of reconstruction.
