Pamela Laird
Pamela is a senior associate in the Risk and Knowledge Management Team providing knowledge management services to the Corporate Team and its clients. She is based in our Edinburgh office but works with and for the benefit of the corporate lawyers across all of our offices and clients, irrespective of where they are based.
Expertise
Before joining the Risk and Knowledge Management Team, Pamela spent over 10 years in practice as a corporate lawyer advising clients on a wide variety of issues and transactions. She has experience in a wide range of practice areas including private equity, joint ventures, M&A and financial services. In her role as a professional support lawyer, Pamela works closely with the lawyers in the corporate team to ensure that they have the technical excellence and skills required to ensure an efficient, commercial and pragmatic service delivery to our clients.
Pamela is a founding member of "PSLs in Corporate", a network of corporate PSLs in Scotland who meet regularly to discuss developments in corporate law and issues generally within the professional support lawyer profession. PSLs in Corporate has also established the Scottish Corporate Training Consortium for corporate lawyers in Scotland.
