Sarah is a senior associate in the corporate team and is based in our Belfast office.
Expertise
Sarah advises clients in relation to all aspects of corporate and commercial law. As well as general mergers and acquisitions advice, she advises on joint ventures, private equity and group reorganisations and specialises in the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Sarah has experience advising on banking and project finance matters.
Sarah is a member of the law society of England and Wales and of Northern Ireland.

- acting for Ladbrokes plc in the acquisition of the Eastwoods Bookmakers chain of betting shops in Northern Ireland
- advising Ferrovial on the tax aspects of the sale of Belfast City Airport to ABN Amro Global Infrastructure Fund for £132.5million
- acting for private equity group Amicus Capital Partners in the acquisition of Glenaden Shirts and separately Global Armour
- advising the shareholders in Cromwell Health Group Limited, owners of the world renowned Cromwell Hospital in London, which was sold to BUPA Finance Plc for over £90million
- advising on the acquisition by Haldane Shiells of the entire issue share capital of G. E. Robinson Group Limited
- advising on the sale of the international Belfast based building service engineering group, Rotary, to the Australian listed company, Hastie Group Limited, in a deal valued at over £100million
- acting for B9 Energy and Renewable Energy Systems on corporate finance aspects of renewable projects in Northern Ireland
- advising Bell Lawrie (a division of Brewin Dolphin Securities Limited) on the acquisition of the investment management services business of PwC
- acting for John Graham (Dromore) Limited in relation to a group restructuring
- acting for public sector body, Invest Northern Ireland, in a range of commercial matters and administrative law issues
