Richard has experience of advising across a range of banking and finance matters including financings in the oil services, maritime, project finance and infrastructure sectors.Recent Successes:
- advising The Royal Bank of Scotland plc, Nordea Bank Norge ASA and NIBC Bank N.V. in relation to the US$120million secured revolving credit facility refinancing of Northern Offshore, Ltd (a multi-jurisdiction drilling rig operator)
- advising The Royal Bank of Scotland plc in relation to the US$200million secured term loan refinancing of GulfMark Americas, Inc (an offshore supply vessel operator)
- currently advising in relation to the provision of new or extended facilities to a number of borrowers in the oil services/ offshore industry
- advising Bank of Scotland plc on the establishment of Bank of Scotland Infrastructure Partners LP Inc, a £434million infrastructure fund
- advising the lenders on a number of PPP (public private partnership) infrastructure projects in the UK
advising the borrower in relation to a private equity mezzanine investment
