Gillian is a senior associate in the knowledge management team providing professional support to the construction procurement team. Gillian is based in our Glasgow office but works with lawyers and clients across all of our offices.
Expertise
Gillian joined the risk and knowledge management team in 2007 after working in the construction procurement team for over seven years, providing advice on all aspects of construction and engineering procurement and contract drafting. She has extensive experience advising employers, funders, contractors and consultants. Gillian is responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the construction procurement team precedents and knowhow. She develops and delivers training courses to both clients and fee earners and ensures that the team is kept up to date with the latest changes in law - and how these impact on our work. Gillian ensures that the knowledge generated within the team is shared and readily accessible and she works closely with the lawyers in the construction procurement team to ensure that they have the technical excellence and skills required to ensure an efficient, commercial and pragmatic service delivery to our clients.
