Philip has over 30 years' experience in the acquisition, disposal, management, development and refurbishment of all types of commercial real estate.
Recent Successes:
- advising a new residential development property company on its start-up, financing (both debt and equity) and first acquisitions, together with on-going planning advice
- advising a residential developer on a range of land acquisitions involving options, overage arrangements, financings and other acquisition structures. Total development values being in the region of £300million per annum
- advising on the acquisition of the shares in a company holding a City office building with a view to the change of use and redevelopment as a hotel
- advising a Central London property fund on its office investment programme to a value of £140million and subsequent sale of properties from that fund
- advising a private property company on the management, prior to redevelopment, of two business parks in the south-east of England
- advising a property company on the restructuring of its loan facilities with a major building society
- advising a residential property company on its defence against an application to register a property with village green status
