Alison is a partner and head of Regeneration and works out of the Glasgow and Manchester offices.

 

Expertise

Alison has specialised in development work especially in the retail and leisure sectors. Leading on from this over the last few years, she has become increasingly known for high profile, time critical projects which require a steady hand and an appetite for the new.

 

Examples of this have included:

  • the Phase l development and sale of St Enoch Centre, Glasgow providing subsequent advice on development matters
  • the acquisition of Cameron Toll Shopping Centre, Edinburgh for a new Fund
  • the redevelopment of City Halls Glasgow for the Council owned subsidiary company
  • the sale and relocation of Motherwell College to be the first occupiers of the Ravenscraig Regeneration Site
  • the acquisition, development and sale of medical centres for Assura
  • the significant pre-let of 1 George Square, Glasgow to Gardiner & Theobold
  • the acquisition of Collegelands, Glasgow, the pre-letting and forward funding of 90,000 square feet of offices and 1150 car park spaces

 

Commercial Roles

  • she has partner responsibility for Graduate Recruitment and deployment throughout the UK offices
  • she is Head of the UK Regeneration Sector Team
  • she sits on the Court of the University of Dundee and was part of the committee  delegated to manage the development and outsourcing of 1800 student beds
