Jennifer is the secretary of the Association of Pension Lawyers (Scottish Group).
Recent Successes:
- legal adviser to the THUS Group plc Pension Scheme which provides appropriate benefits for "protected persons" under the Electricity Act 1989
- legal adviser to the trustees of the Rosyth Royal Dockyard Pension Scheme, the UPM-Kymmene UK Pension Scheme and the UPM Raflatac Pension Plan
- advising various trustee boards on the closure of schemes to the accrual of benefits and on amending benefits for future service
- providing advice to both employers and trustees on the implications of the failed equalisation of pension ages within scheme documentation
- acting as independent trustee for various schemes through McGrigors Pension Trustees Limited
