Expertise
Jeremy is a Chartered Accountant. From 1982–2006 he was a tax partner in the London office of KPMG LLP.
Jeremy has wide and in depth experience in advising Listed Companies on corporate and international taxation with an emphasis on natural resources, mergers and acquisitions and resolution of tax disputes.
Recent Projects:
- Risk assessment in relation to prospective tax planning, including Disclosure under the Disclosure of Tax Avoidance Schemes legislation.
- Negotiating settlements with HMRC of a disputed claim for Double Taxation Relief by an international company.
- Assisting a professional in firm in minimizing the impact of a claim for professional negligence relating to tax advice.
- Reviewing the impact of the UK oil tax regime in relation to projected UK oil and gas production.
