McGrigors sizes up with first instruction from Jimmy Choo
McGrigors LLP has stepped into the world of glamour and high fashion, having completed its first instruction for the luxury footwear and accessories brand Jimmy Choo.
The Real Estate team at McGrigors secured a unit for Jimmy Choo at the luxury retail village at Bicester, Oxfordshire. McGrigors began working with Jimmy Choo following the arrival of William Greig, a partner who joined McGrigors from Field Fisher Waterhouse in June 2006 and had previously worked with the iconic shoemaker.
Hannah Merritt, Head of Legal & Company Secretary of Jimmy Choo commented, “I have known William Greig for over 10 years and I am delighted he remains our client partner. I have enjoyed a good working relationship with the real estate team at McGrigors, and I have already given them further instructions.”
McGrigors’ partner Suzanne Gill and solicitor Laura Martin worked on the deal. They both have extensive commercial property experience as well as retail and leisure sector expertise having worked for Wyevale Garden Centres, Frank Smythson Limited, Villeroy and Boch and Petit Bateau.
