The newly formed McGrigors Middle Eastern and North Africa team has been launched to take advantage of the synergies that already exist between the firm and its closest contacts who are based in the region and/or have workstreams that emanate from the region. The team is committed to providing legal assistance across the whole spectrum of corporate and commercial legal services, banking and project finance and all aspects of the resolution of disputes in construction and engineering projects and all aspects of commercial and tax litigation, alternative dispute resolution and regulatory proceedings. McGrigors also has a market leading team with 50 energy lawyers with capabilities which cover the upstream and downstream markets, working with clients on projects, transactional and regulatory matters relating to oil and gas, maritime and power and heat generation/supply.
We have extensive contacts and client exposure across the MENA region, and the team consists of several native speaking lawyers with experience of the business culture across the region. We act in all three UK jurisdictions and can call on our relationships with local lawyers and intermediaries which enables us to provide a complete service for international transactions requiring local knowledge and advice.
We are ideally placed to offer a full service legal team across the region for clients and investors from the region interested in working together on global projects, and those interested in increasing their presence within the region.
