London

The placement in London lasts for three weeks and there are ordinarily two schemes with 8 people on each one. You will be placed in two different departments and have a review from each area.

The three weeks consist of doing various work for the department such as drafting documents, proof reading, and research, attending client meetings, reviewing contract clauses, helping with seminars to clients, business development work, and going to the Royal Courts of Justice. You will be involved in the social side too and can expect to be invited along to events during your placement.  Previous events have included wine tasting, quiz nights, drinks with trainees, duck tours and lunch with your supervisor or other senior employees.

You will also be allocated a buddy who will be a current trainee to help you along the way.

The salary is £250 per week.
